Graduated in 1990 from the Department of Arts and Crafts, Suzhou Silk Institute of Technology (now the Academy of Fine Arts, Soochow University).

2008, Winner of the Annual Artist Photography Award, Musée du quai Branly, France.

2008, Awarded the World Professional Photographer Prize at the Jinan Contemporary International Photography Biennale, China.

2025, Honored as an Expert-Recommended Photographer at the Lishui Photography Festival.

2007, Participated in the First International Photography Exhibition, Paris, France, with the series Daylight Never Comprehends the Night's Black.

2007, Participated in the China Coal Mine Exhibition at the Houston International Photography Festival, USA, with the series Heavy Dust.

2011, Participated in the Coal + Ice group photography exhibition at the Three Shadows Photography Art Centre, Beijing, with the series Heavy Dust.

2013, Participated in the inaugural Syngenta Photography Exhibition at Somerset House, London, UK.

2014, Participated in the 'Art Paris - Chinese Art Exhibition'.

2015, Participated in the Coal + Ice exhibition at Vanke Center, Xuhui, Shanghai, with the series Heavy Dust.

2018, Participated in the COAL+ICE exhibition at the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture, San Francisco, USA.

2022, Participated in the COAL+ICE Documentary Photography Exhibition at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Washington D.C., USA.

The works have been exhibited on multiple occasions at major Chinese photography festivals including those in Lianzhou, Pingyao, Lishui, and Jinan.

Notable photographic series include Daylight Never Comprehends the Night's Black, Heavy Dust, The Magic Cube of Nine Provinces, Days at the Zoo, Fish in the Air, and Programmed Light. Works are held in the collections of domestic and international art institutions, including the Archive of Modern Conflict (UK).

Works have been published in prominent domestic and international art and photography periodicals such as Chinese Photography, Popular Photography, China Photographer, China Photography News, Le Monde 2, Arts Photo, AIR FRANCE MAGAZINE, and Art Press.
