Joly – Vase of Flowers 1896 朱莉-花瓶 1896 1894– Dr. John Joly (1857 -1933) of Trinity College Dublin invented a process which used a glass photographic plate with fine vertical red, green and blue lines less than 0.1 mm wide printed on them. It was the first successful process for producing color images from a single photographic plate.
