Dry plate Image 干板照片 1871 – Richard Leach Maddox (1816 – 1902) an English physician began experimenting and produced lightweight gelatin negative plates. Charles Harper Bennett (1840 – 1927) another English photographic pioneer went on to improve this process, hardening the emulsion and increasing the sensitivity.
