MULTICULTURAL PHOTOGRAPHIC DISPLAY AND COMPETITION
We’ve missed our National Multicultural Festival (NMF) in the ACT like many other activities since the start of the COVID pandemic, but it will return in February 2023 and we look forward to seeing the cultural displays, performances and of course the foods.
A new event is planned by the Chinese Photographic Society of Australia (CPSA) to celebrate multicultural Australia and the people who make us the lucky country that we are. It will be a photography competition and display, open to all and free to enter with the theme being “Multicultural Australia andthe People”.
Dr Fuxin Li the founding president of CPSA since 2009 would welcome all to participate in this event. A group page has been created in facebook for entries to be displayed and comments are welcome. There will be a separate People’s Choice prize.
We will invite everyone who wishes to participate to upload their entry to the website before the end of 31 December 2022, so we have time to make prints for display during the three days of the festival. Late entrants after 31 December 2022 must supply their own print.
The entry may be a portrait, full length or a group engaged in cultural activities. Entries must be the work of the entrant. There is no limit to the age of the photograph. The administrators will select photos that are suitable quality for printing, culling those that do not comply with the theme, are considered inappropriate or are poor quality/too small to print to the specified size. The prints will be 30 x 40 cm on double-weight paper so they can be hung without curling.
Entrants will retain the copyright to their photos but agree to allow the image to be reproduced in media and advertising for the National Multicultural Festival only. Entrants may purchase their prints at cost after the festival. Sponsors and prizes will be announced soon.

2023年多元文化攝影大賽暨展覽
自新冠肺炎疫情大爆發(fā)以來(lái)，就像許多其他活動(dòng)一樣，我們連續(xù)錯(cuò)過(guò)了澳大利亞首都地區(qū)的國(guó)家多元文化節(jié)，但它將于2023年2月回歸，我們期待看到文化展示，各種表演，當(dāng)然還有美食。
澳大利亞華人攝影協(xié)會(huì)計(jì)劃舉辦一項(xiàng)新活動(dòng)，以慶祝多元文化的澳大利亞以及使我們成為幸運(yùn)國(guó)家的人們。這將是一個(gè)攝影比賽和展覽，向所有人開(kāi)放，免費(fèi)參賽，主題是“多元文化的澳大利亞和人民”。
澳大利亞華人攝影協(xié)會(huì)創(chuàng)會(huì)主席李復(fù)新博士歡迎大家參加此次活動(dòng)。我們?cè)谀槙?shū)中創(chuàng)建了一個(gè)攝影群，歡迎大家評(píng)論，并將有一個(gè)單獨(dú)的大眾評(píng)論獎(jiǎng)。
我們希望所有參賽人在2022年12月31日之前將其參賽作品上傳到網(wǎng)站上展示，獲獎(jiǎng)作品將制作印刷品展示。2022年12月31日之后提交作品者須自行安排印刷照片。
參賽作品可以是肖像或從事多元文化活動(dòng)的團(tuán)體。參賽作品必須是參賽者的作品。照片的年齡沒(méi)有限制。管理員將選擇適合打印質(zhì)量的照片，剔除那些不符合主題，被認(rèn)為不合適或質(zhì)量差/太小而無(wú)法打印到指定尺寸的照片，最后由評(píng)委決定獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。打印件將在雙倍重量的紙張上為30 x 40厘米，因此可以懸掛而不會(huì)卷曲。
參賽者將保留其照片的版權(quán)，但須同意在媒體和廣告中復(fù)制該圖像，以用于澳大利亞多元文化節(jié)展示。參賽者可以在展覽結(jié)束后以成本價(jià)購(gòu)買(mǎi)他們的印刷品，大賽暨展覽的贊助商和獎(jiǎng)品將很快公布。
