仰光的環(huán)城鐵路

      澳門攝影家洪火山先生,現(xiàn)為澳門沙龍影藝會理事長、榮譽高級會士。
      這組照片選自洪火山先生歷時三年拍攝的影像。他記錄了當年緬甸仰光市一條環(huán)繞城市鐵路及鐵路周邊的人們生活的情景?,F(xiàn)在這條鐵路已經(jīng)被拆除改造。
      洪火山先生的家鄉(xiāng)就在這個城市。而這條1958年就開始修建投入使用的全長29英里左右的仰光環(huán)城鐵道,至今已有六十多年的歷史了,它是仰光這座城市的一張名片,只需一塊錢左右,就可以環(huán)城一圈。圍繞這條鐵路形成了各種人的生活著狀態(tài),同時也依托這條鐵路人與人之間發(fā)生了各式各樣的交流。
      從2016年起洪火山先生開始拍攝這條環(huán)城鐵路。在這之前,他的攝影活動和作品大多來源于其所生活、工作的澳門,也因此在與其他國內(nèi)攝影家交流中發(fā)揮著特有的作用。在交流的過程中,不斷感受著中國日新月異的變化,從而促使他對自己的攝影創(chuàng)作進行深入的思考,并開始探究在那些采風似的攝影活動中積累的觀看經(jīng)驗,能否較為全面表達所見事物和自己觀看后的情感。長時間的這種思考使得他對攝影的態(tài)度發(fā)生了變化,這種變化最終反映在他通過攝影對其出生地的關(guān)注上。與旅游采風似的攝影選擇不同,對熟悉的記憶和環(huán)境展開攝影創(chuàng)作,更需要在獵奇與新鮮感之外進行新角度的尋找。
      在三年的拍攝中,洪火山先生的創(chuàng)作也經(jīng)歷了各種個樣的反復(fù)和琢磨,從器材的選擇到環(huán)境的適應(yīng);還有表現(xiàn)方式,從原來的想在特定時間和光線下呈現(xiàn)出“沙龍”感,進而考慮應(yīng)該有“冷面”參與,以至最后不再故意的強調(diào)“形式”,以及拍攝中與人的交流方式都經(jīng)過了許多研究和實踐,同時在創(chuàng)作中不斷的進行延伸。
      洪火山先生拍攝的這一系列作品,不僅是攝影家對城市歷史變化的紀錄,也是對自己少時所見的回憶,更重要的是這條環(huán)城鐵路作為平臺展現(xiàn)了人與人之間的相互關(guān)系,這種關(guān)系形成了當?shù)厮赜械娘L情,攝影家是想通過鏡頭挽留對這些風情的紀念。

Yangon Ring Railway

This group of photos is selected from the images taken by Mr. Hong Fo San for three years. He recorded the life of people living on a railway around the city and around the railway in Rangoon, Myanmar. Now the railway has been demolished and reconstructed.

Mr. Hong's hometown is in this city. This 29 mile long Yangon ring railway, which was built and put into use in 1958, has a history of more than 60 years. It is a business card of the city of Yangon. You only need to pay about one yuan to travel around the city. The living conditions of all kinds of people have been formed around this railway, and at the same time, various exchanges have taken place between people relying on this railway.

Since 2016, Mr.Hong has been photographing this railway circling the city. Before that, most of his photography activities and works came from Macao, where he lived and worked, and therefore played a unique role in communicating with other domestic photographers. In the process of communication, he constantly felt the rapid changes in China, which prompted him to think deeply about his photography creation, Start to explore whether the viewing experience accumulated in those tourist photography activities can comprehensively express the things he see and feelings after watching.This kind of thinking for a long time has changed his attitude towards photography, which is finally reflected in his attention to his birthplace through photography. Different from the photography choice like tourism, photography creation for familiar memories and environments requires a new perspective beyond curiosity and novelty.

In the three years of shooting, Mr. Hong's creation has also experienced various kinds of repetition and pondering, from the choice of equipment to the adaptation of the environment; There are also ways of expression. From the original intention to show a sense of "salon" at a specific time and light, and then to consider the participation of "cold faces", and finally to stop deliberately emphasizing "form", as well as the way of communication with people during shooting, he have gone through a lot of research and practice, and at the same time,he continue to be extended in creation.

The series of works shot by Mr. Hong are not only the photographer's records of the historical changes of the city, but also the memories of what he saw in his childhood. More importantly, the railway around the city as a platform shows the relationship between people, which forms the unique local customs. The photographer wants to retain the memory of these customs through the lens.
